Outstanding experience of 24 years in areas of technology development and business innovation, such as manufacturing engineering, materials science, nanotechnology and R&D&I management.

Work experience of >3 years in international centres of recognised prestige (Finland and UK). Strengths in business unit development including the design and implementation of strategic plans and team management. High capacity for the commercialisation of technological products and services. Experience in international business (Europe and Latin America).  Outstanding experience in defining and executing R&D&I plans with high knowledge of the transnational environment. Participation in >50 technological projects in the medical, aeronautical, defence and energy sectors, co-founder of an agri-food company.

  • PhD from the University of Oviedo in the area of Organic and Inorganic Chemistry (CSIC).
  • Degree in Chemistry from the University of Oviedo.
  • Master's Degree in Innovation Management and Business Development (University of Oviedo).

  • Since October 2023 he is the Executive Director of the Asturian Agency for Science, Business Competitiveness and Innovation (SEKUENS).

SRP; of the Sociedad de Garantía Recíproca de Asturias ASTURGAR; and of the Centro Europeo de Empresas e Innovación, CEEI.
