GKPF
Global Knowledge Partnership Foundation (GKPF) is an internationally recognised multistakeholder network promoting innovation and advancement in Knowledge and Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) for Development. With 115 network members, GKP brings together Public Sector, Private Sector and Civil Society Organisations with the goal of Sharing Knowledge and Building Partnerships in Knowledge and ICT for Development.
Founded in 1997, GKP activities and programmes foster the innovative application of knowledge and technology to adress and solve development issues in four strategic themes:
- Access to Knowledge
- Education
- Poverty Reduction
- Resource Mobilisation
GKPF operates in 8 regions, namely, Africa, Europe, East Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean, Middle East and North Africa, North America, Oceania and South Asia. GKP members demostrate ideas through projects on the ground; and they influence policy at a global level.
Being very recently registered and established as a GKP Foundation in Spain, Its Board of Trustees is made up of International Organizations from Canada, Argentina, Holland and Spain.It is managed by a Technical Office which is located in the CTIC Foundation.

As an evolving network of public, civil society, and commercial organisations, GKP provides members access to global knowledge and innovation; links with organisations within and across regions; supports capacity development and provides opportunities for resource mobilisation to advance development.

- Enhance access, quality, relevance and efficiency of education systems providing skill enhacement for livelihoods and economic well being for all.
- Enhance access to quality healthcare for all.
- Responds to climate change challenges and disaster risk reductions.
- Engendering development and enabling human rights for all Public accountability, transparency, inclusive governance and cyber security.
