Internationalization
CTIC displays significant activity in the international arena. Our strategy is focused on different geographical areas and with different technological foci.
Our positioning in W3C, as an international organization that creates standards for the Web, is supported by the presence of 11 researchers in international groups that works creating technical specifications and standards for the global consortium for the development of web technology.

We also maintain a strategy of participation in European research consortia through participation in the EU Framework Programmes. This allows us to work closely with companies and organizations from different countries of the EU and to maintain collaborative relationships with research centers distributed throughout Europe that are related or complementary to CTIC.
Today we are putting a special focus on Latinomérica to provide high-value technology services (mobility services with products such as Merkur), advice to governments to initiate processes of Open Government (government transparency through opening up public data, Open Data) and counseling also to governments, to establish technological development strategies aimed at improving business competitiveness, inclusion or social innovation.

Our international focus is also endorsed by means of ourcollaboration and participation in development cooperation through international organizations such as UN Africa (UNECA) o GKP.
The wide range of international agreements demonstrates the value contribution of CTIC internationally.
