Strategic Vision

The main characteristic of our organization is what we can call CTIC Culture, identifying ourselves internally and externally, being what makes sense (the mission) and the principles that move us (values).

This is based on an ethical principle we have kept since its creation:

Non competition with the Regional Technology Sector, as well as being complimentary to it.

CTIC Mission

Technology Center

CTIC's mission is to act as a motor and transformative agent in the field of ICT and its applications, promoting technological innovation, cultivating the development of talent and attracting financial resources. This will generate the recognition when supporting and promoting cooperation, the development and competitiveness of our companies and the quality of the administration services.

CTIC’s employees must know and assume the mission of the organization, understanding that everything CTIC does is geared towards compliance.

Information Society

CTIC Foundation Information Society's mission is to be an agent for the development of Information Society in Asturias, supporting the deployment of the Information Society policies of the Regional Government and other Public and Private Entities. To do this CTIC-IS will focus its efforts on the development of actions within the region.

As part of its social commitment, CTIC-IS aims to collaborate with other National and International Organizations with similar goals, through the transfer of strategies, models and tools based on its own experience and the knowledge gained in our territory. Special emphasis will be put on the developing countries as recipients of this transfer.

All CTIC-IS’s staff must learn, share and assume the mission of the organization and understand that everything they do is aimed at fulfilling the Foundation’s mission.

CTIC Foundation Information Society must contribute to society through all its knowledge and effort to achieve full e-inclusion in all areas (citizens, businesses, institutions, governments and territories), resulting in a better quality of life and in the reduction of the inequalities inherent to the Information Society, as well as others which may be defeated by the used of ICT or the social innovation in technology.

It aims to be recognized by the business sector and the rest of agents of the innovation system: administrations, business associations and scientific-technical community.

Information Society

CTIC Foundation Information Society aspires to be recognized by the Regional Development Agents (Regional Government, Municipalities, Business and Civil Associations and other Development Agents.) as an instrument that accompanies them in the design, development and implementation of strategies and programs of the Information Society, providing added value in the proposals and approaches, and being guarantor of obtaining the desired results, quality and transparency in the implementation.

CTIC Values

Technology Centre

  • The service commitment to the territory is implicit in the mission. All actions carried out by CTIC will aim at fulfilling its mission, which is its service commitment with the territory. This implies a service commitment in each of the actions that CTIC carries out with customers.
  • Provision of added-value: CTIC, in its relationship with customers, should always be perceived positively regarding its attitude to spare no effort to find or develop solutions that will improve the competitiveness of the recipients of its services. In many cases this generosity will become, not only in knowledge transfer, but also in achieving cooperation partnerships between businesses and the centre itself.
  • Professional honesty: this must be a value of all CTIC employees towards both their own work companions and the customers, who will appreciate this in terms of trust.
