Privacy vs Participation

Background

The International Congress Children in ICT is organized in the framework of the E-Asturias-Internet and Family project. This is an awareness project, promoted by the Government of the Principality of Asturias, whose mission is to promote safe and responsible use of ICT among children, parents and educators. It seeks to contribute to building a culture of prevention and responsibility to enable children and adolescents to obtain a better and a more advantageous effective use of technology.

The III International Congress Children in ICT aims to continue the work begun in 2009 and continued in 2010, by addressing the need to create spaces for debate, reflection, cooperation and dialogue among different stakeholders with co-responsibility criteria to ensure that young people make a safer use of ICT
