Free service which aims to help SMEs approach ICT.

Objective:

Technological Advances Services Centres (SAT Centres) aim to inform and advice regional companies on any aspect about ICT implementation in their business management.

SAT Centres have advanced technological infrastructure, which allow companies to test and compare different devices and technologies, in order to find the most adequate solution to their problem. The objective is to offer companies an adapted orientation to their necessities.

The end users are small medium sized enterprises, business associations, entrepreneurs, and any person involved in the Asturian business sector.

Services:

• Guidance. During the last years the way companies work is changing. Access to ICT and the cheapening of telecommunications costs are fostering new communication channels. These changes and the correct adaptation to this new way of working is making the difference concerning companies' efficiency and competitiveness. SAT Centres offer Asturian companies technological guidance, so that the incorporation of ICT is made in a simple and economically reasonable way.
• Technological advisory service. Regarding electronic communication systems, network infrastructures and electronic management proceedings.
• Seminars. Workshops and seminars campaign for SMES.
• Demonstration sites. Technological demonstration activities are also carried out by SAT Centres.
• Counselling. In order to give solution to specific situations, such us acquirement of new equipments, the optimization of computer resources, adoption of new ways of making businesses on-line, etc.
