The ADVANCE project is part of the Leonardo program (created by the EU for the promotion of a European space on education and vocational training matters). The project leader is the Chamber of Commerce of Arlès and its activities are developed by the following partners:
This project aims to develop a pedagogical method in order to know what kind of training fits
individual needs better. It starts from a study about the way people learn and takes into account
their precursor knowledge (cognitive profile).
Therefore, the starting point is a system of cognitive evaluation that defines the user’s
cognitive profile with the aim of permitting his/her access to the most suitable training method.
The project will develop training methods related to electrical maintenance combining
different methodologies, depending on the different cognitive persons profiles.
In general, the project aims to improve the efficiency of distance technical training (e-learning), based on the customization and adaptation of training contents.
