ESTIC

ESTIC (Social Economy and Information and Communication Technologies) is a program promoted by the Industry and Employment Regional Ministry of the Principality of Asturias and developed by the CTIC Foundation that facilitates ICT introduction in Social Economy companies.

Target group:

Social Economy companies (co-operatives and labor societies) and their partners, managers and workers.

Objectives:

• To disseminate the competitive advantages that can be derived from the introduction of Information and Communication Technologies in the activities of Social Economy companies. 
• To qualify on the use of computer tools by training managers and workers. 
• To introduce Information and Communication Technologies in business management. 
• To promote the presence of Social Economy companies in the Internet.

Main action lines:

• Training and awareness:
• • Disseminating chats with a sector approach.
  • On site training on management skills related to ICT. 
  • On line courses for the development of specific and applied skills.
    
• Technological Advising:
• • Response to specific requests and information about public grants. 
  • Integrated Technological Advising (individual diagnosis including solutions for competitive improvements).
• Development of web pages with a clear e-business approach. 
• Public aids to purchase management software.
