CLOUDMED is a platform based on an IoT architecture for the integration and analysis of the message streams generated by the laser machines of medical aesthetic equipment, with an expert system that extracts value from that data and automates analysis and decision-making tasks.

Until CLOUDMED was developed, the messages generated by laser equipment were often wasted because of the cost of analyzing them in depth.

The areas around which CLOUDMED was structured were:

  • IoT data integration: capture and integration of the message streams from the laser equipment into a common platform.
  • Expert system: extraction of value from the data and automation of analysis and decision-making tasks.
  • Cloud security: deployment of all components in the cloud, with communications over encrypted channels in line with best practices and databases with encryption of stored data.

CTIC developed the platform for Leaseir Medical Light.
