Emprende Geek II: Youth tech entrepreneurship promotion program based on the Lean Startup methodology

EmprendeGeek II was a project designed by CTIC and funded by the Fundación INCYDE through the European Social Fund, aimed at boosting young people's technological talent toward the creation of innovative entrepreneurial initiatives, by developing proactive attitudes and the skills needed to turn an idea into a viable business model, as a route into employment.

CTIC designed the initiative based on the following objectives:

The project offered an entrepreneurship pathway based on the Lean Startup methodology, through which participants were able to experience first-hand the most innovative working methodologies in the field of entrepreneurship.

The program carried out the following activities:

The program was aimed at young people between 16 and 30 who were not in employment and not in education or training, with specialized technological skills and little or no work experience, registered in the Youth Guarantee System.
