iCABIN studied the human-machine interaction technologies that could be used in cabins and control stations under a new multimodal interaction paradigm, and developed an experimental prototype.

Control stations concentrate a large amount of information and require operators to interact with the systems quickly and accurately.

The project's objectives were to:

  • Study the human-machine interaction technologies applicable to cabins and control stations.
  • Explore a new multimodal interaction paradigm.
  • Develop an experimental prototype.

CTIC carried out the study and the prototype, applying its expertise in human-machine interfaces.
