INTERA aimed to develop a cloud platform that would allow companies and organizations to interact with their customers continuously and in real time, improving traditional systems through online data analysis and providing immediate feedback in the face of the variety of media and the volatility of content, products, and needs among today's customers.
The project's objectives were:
- To offer comprehensive management through cloud services, making access easier for companies and organizations regardless of the device used and avoiding structural and infrastructure costs.
- To enable real-time interaction with customers and end users through scalable architectures.
- To design and automate personalized interactions across multiple communication channels, both online (social media, email, proximity technologies) and offline (SMS, on-site communications, postal mail, phone, or direct discounts).
The core areas of INTERA were:
- Real-time cloud platform: a rules engine for defining communications, with a metamodel of data sources and behavioral variables, master tables for catalogs, promotions, and preferences, and a campaign management system with audience segmentation.
- Multichannel communication: integration of seven communication channels, including email, push notifications, and proximity technologies (beacons) in the online sphere, and SMS, postal mail, and direct discounts in the offline sphere.
- System integration and validation: unification of the components into a working ecosystem, with performance tests that confirmed delivery times of between 3 and 5 seconds.
CTIC developed INTERA, a cloud platform for real-time personalized customer interaction, integrating data analytics, IoT, and multichannel communication technologies.
