The program is built on a support model based on collaboration and cooperation among the economic and social stakeholders of the territory, with the aim of strengthening Oviedo's business community by combining support for the creation of new companies with the consolidation and growth of existing ones.
The objectives of the program are:
- Facilitate the creation of robust, innovative, and well-designed business models, minimizing the failure rate and promoting those based on technological capabilities and resources.
- Support companies in their digital transformation processes, promoting the efficient use of ICT and the development of the skills needed at each stage of the business life cycle.
- Encourage the adoption of new sales channels through the Internet.
- Strengthen and consolidate Oviedo's business community, supporting companies as they stay in the market, reinvent themselves, or scale up their businesses.
The areas around which CTIC's participation was structured were:
- Business support: help in designing robust business models based on technological capabilities, and support in digital transformation processes and in the adoption of new sales channels through the Internet.
- Entrepreneurial culture: promotion of entrepreneurial and intrapreneurial values among professionals and young people, and of a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship from an early age.
CTIC worked with the Cámara de Comercio de Oviedo and the Asociación de Jóvenes Empresarios (AJE) on the development of the program, contributing its experience in digital transformation and in the definition of technology-based business models. The program remains active under the leadership of the Ayuntamiento de Oviedo, without CTIC's participation since 2021.
