CTIC provided strategic and technological support to the Government of Angola for the design, implementation, and evolution of its multimedia library network, including the development of knowledge management tools, educational content, and training for the network's technical and management staff.

The project addressed the Government of Angola's need to build a modern multimedia library network, with knowledge management and digital content deployment capabilities, as well as trained staff to operate it.

The objectives of the project were:

  • To draw up a strategic plan and implement Angola's multimedia library network.
  • To design and develop functional knowledge management tools.
  • To design methodologies and procedures associated with the delivery and management of the network's services.
  • To train the network's technical and management staff, including profiles supporting the deployed infrastructure.

The project was built around the following pillars:

  • Strategic planning: preparation of the strategic plan for the multimedia library network.
  • Knowledge management tools: functional design, development, and implementation of these tools.
  • Content and training: design of educational content on the application of ICT and training of technical teams and ICT trainers.

CTIC developed the project for the Government of Angola.
