SENIOR.IA: Opportunities in the regional longevity and active aging mission enabled by artificial intelligence research

SENIOR.IA addressed the various challenges that limit healthy longevity by applying advanced artificial intelligence techniques to existing population data under a precision personalized medicine (PPM) approach.

The objectives of the project were:

• To promote healthy longevity by applying artificial intelligence to population data.
• To maximize prevention and early diagnosis of diseases and challenges associated with the aging process.
• To explore the feasibility of applying the precision personalized medicine paradigm supported by AI technologies.

The areas on which the project was built were:

• Use of population data: application of AI techniques to existing datasets to provide solid evidence for prevention.
• Prevention and early diagnosis: development of a solution covering the entire data flow needed to anticipate diseases and challenges of aging.

CTIC led the project in its entirety, applying its experience in artificial intelligence to exploring the precision personalized medicine paradigm, with the aim of generating social value and a positive impact on health in the field of active and healthy aging.
