SISPLANT developed a system based on the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) concept to monitor industrial plants and act on their elements, conceived as a generic visualization platform adaptable to different industrial processes.

The project met the need of industrial plants to have an integrated view of their operation and to be able to act on their elements based on that information.

The areas around which SISPLANT was structured were:

  • Monitoring and actuation: adoption of the standards that make it possible to interact with the plant's elements, both to supervise them and to act on them.
  • Large-scale data processing: big data technologies to process all the plant's information, ensuring data integrity and security.
  • Adaptable platform: a generic visualization solution, adaptable to different industrial processes.

TSK had the collaboration of CTIC, which contributed its experience in the Industrial Internet of Things and data analysis.
