The project researched the methodology and technology applicable to predicting the energy consumption of office buildings with hourly resolution, knowledge that is needed to plan production in a context of the growing weight of renewables and smart electricity grids.

The expansion of renewable generation and smart grids requires detailed knowledge of buildings' consumption patterns in order to plan production needs.

The project's objectives were to:

  • Research methodologies and technologies for predicting the energy consumption of office buildings.
  • Achieve a prediction resolution of one hour.

CTIC took part in the project, contributing its expertise in intelligent data analysis and prediction models.
