CTIC carried out a study to determine the state of readiness and technical adoption of ICT in the city of Medellín, formulating a strategy to expand its use across different areas.

The project responded to the need of the Medellín Digital Program to understand the city's real situation in terms of ICT in order to guide its widespread adoption.

The objectives of the project were:

  • To determine Medellín's current state of readiness and technical adoption of ICT.
  • To formulate a strategy that would enable the Medellín Digital Program to expand ICT use across different areas.
  • To publish the results through a Web 2.0 application with social networks to optimize their dissemination.

CTIC carried out the project for MAKAIA International Advisory Corporation.
