This technology allows us to process data from IoT devices, in the same place where it is generated, avoiding the massive sending of data to the cloud and optimizing communications by sending information already processed on-site. Edge infrastructures also facilitate the analysis and exploitation of data in real time, especially in locations where there is no 5G or broadband connection.
