Edge AI refers to the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to analyze and process data directly on the device that collects it, rather than sending it to the cloud or a remote data center.

This processing model reduces response times , decreases the amount of information transmitted over the network and protects data privacy , as it is processed locally. Thanks to this, it is essential in applications that require real-time responses , such as IoT devices , autonomous vehicles , intelligent surveillance systems or personal assistants .

At CTIC we research, adapt and integrate these technologies in different contexts, promoting their application in embedded devices and intelligent systems . Our work encompasses:
