This processing model reduces response times , decreases the amount of information transmitted over the network and protects data privacy , as it is processed locally. Thanks to this, it is essential in applications that require real-time responses , such as IoT devices , autonomous vehicles , intelligent surveillance systems or personal assistants .

At CTIC we research, adapt and integrate these technologies in different contexts, promoting their application in embedded devices and intelligent systems . Our work encompasses:

The Internet of Things is one of the key technologies driving digital transformation processes.

Thanks to IoT, it is possible to collect data from all types of devices and equipment, and exchange them easily using Internet as a communication channel , in an interoperable and secure way.

Satellite data is information collected by satellites orbiting the Earth, capable of providing different types of observations depending on their function and the technology they employ.

These data include a wide variety of essential information for multiple applications: land use monitoring, natural disaster management, food security, or environmental analysis, among others.

The Earth Observation market is growing strongly and shows a high potential to improve decision-making in ácriticalífields such as agriculture, urban planningó and emergency response.

In addition to imagery, the satellites provide structured geolocated data and advanced observation services, which allow CTIC to enrich the Artificial Intelligence models it develops and broaden the scope of its technological solutions.
